just opened a random map from someone's modding queue and couldn't look at it for more than 1 second

effort was definitely put into it but the execution leaves a lot of room for improvement

6 minute song so remapping is unlikely

now looking at some fisky maps I like it

actually fisky's maps r the kind that make me go wow this is pretty lit and gives me hope when it comes to osu mapping

what kind of mapper does this in a (TV Size)? love it

just downloaded all the other versions of this song and they're all generic anime mapping except andrea's map which is andrea mapping

the difference in mapping prowess is insane

of course maybe these mappers just like mapping like the way they map but from a mapping POV their maps are simple compared to fisky's

but yea looking at the ranked sets was pretty funny since I never see those kinds of maps in contest mapping

an artist might say "all works aren't supposed to make you go wow" or that "there needs to be normal stuff for the irregularities to stand out"

I think it's hard to judge how much normal stuff there needs to be for irregularities to stand out since osu! maps create experiences (with the audio, background, visuals and feel of the map)

basically there are more variables involved than an artwork since multiple senses (hearing, seeing, haptic, etc) make up the beatmap experience
